Account information services

1. General information

Gimi AB, organisation number 556985-8029, address Gimi AB C/O Convendum stockholm city AB Box 4011, 102 61 Stockholm is registered as a payment service provider for account information services with Finansinspektionen and is acting under its supervision.

Gimi allows you to link a bank account with an associated debit card to the Gimi app so that you and your child can see your child’s balance and transactions in the Gimi application. Please note that all adults that are connected to your child will be able to see your child’s balance and transaction history.

By accepting these terms, you give your consent for Gimi to provide account information services regarding the bank account that you choose to link to the application, which means continuous access to account information such as balance, transaction history and transaction information.

To provide you with the best service, the account information service might change and develop from time to time, involving adding new features.

Please note that Gimi processes your personal data, such as account information, to provide the requested service with contract as a legal basis. For more information about how we process your personal data and your rights, read our Privacy Policy.

Information for you as a user is provided in these terms and can be found at any time on Gimi’s website.

These terms and conditions constitute additional terms to Gimi’s Terms of Use.

2. Use of the services

Use of the account information service is an additional service to the Gimi app. Access to the account information service requires that you sign a subscription. This means that you pay a subscription fee to Gimi monthly or yearly. If you have a bank account at a bank partner to Gimi, the subscription fee might be reduced in part or in full.

You will be allowed to try to connect your bank account, this is due to the fact that Gimi service does not work with all banks. We don’t want you to pay for something you cannot use. Therefore, you can connect your bank account and see if it works but further use of the account information services requires a subscription. After testing if your bank account connection works, you are offered the option of removing the bank account connection, shouldn’t it work or shouldn’t you want to sign a subscription.

In order for the account information service to be performed correctly, you need to identify yourself with BankID when you link a bank account to the application. Gimi then uses this identification when you want to use the account information service. For security reasons, you need to renew this identification every ninety (90) days.

Implementation of the account information service usually takes a maximum of 5 minutes. In rare cases, the service may take longer or be temporarily unavailable due to technical updates or temporary errors.

3. Personal data

In order to be able to deliver the account information service to you, we need to process your personal data. When you accept these terms of use, you are aware that Gimi will process financial information from the bank account you choose. This information consists of bank, account number, balance sheet, transaction information and transaction history. Gimi processes this information only for the purpose of delivering the account information service to you. Gimi will also process event data and metadata in order to ensure that the service works and to improve the service.

Gimi will stop processing the personal data related to the account information service when you terminate this agreement, unless there is a legal requirement to store your data to prevent money laundering.

4. Communication

Information to you as a user is provided in these terms and can be found at any time on Gimi’s website.

For communication about the account information service, Gimi’s support must be used as found in the Application or on the website.

The language of this agreement is Swedish and communication regarding this agreement will be in Swedish. The language can be English in case you do not speak Swedish.

In the event of security risks or unauthorized use of the services, Gimi will notify you by notification in the Application, SMS, email or by telephone.

5. Approval of changes to the Conditions

If Gimi would change these terms and conditions, you will be notified in due time.  You have approved the terms of the date on which the conditions were in force, unless you disagree with the new terms.

6. Term of the agreement and termination

This agreement is valid as long as you hold a Gimi account. You can terminate the agreement immediately by deleting your bank account connection or deleting your user account. Please note that you will not be able to use Gimi’s services for account information after deletion. Also note that it is not enough to uninstall the application to terminate the agreement. 7. Law and forum

Swedish law applies to this agreement and the forum for dispute shall be Stockholm District Court.
